HOW 1UP WORKS
1UP connects coach-created programming, real-world workouts, short video submissions, trainer feedback, and game-inspired progression in one connected experience.
Trainers build the path. Participants complete the work. Real effort becomes XP, levels, skills, quests, and progress inside the game.
THE 1UP WORKFLOW
1UP connects the trainer and trainee experience from beginning to end. Coaches create the program, participants complete real activities, and the results become part of a larger progression journey.
Trainers build a reusable library of exercises, sports drills, wellness activities, or performance challenges.
Coaches organize exercises into workouts, then combine multiple workouts into a structured training program.
Once a program is ready, the trainer publishes it and shares a unique access code with athletes, students, players, or clients.
Trainees enter the program code, review assigned workouts, and complete the real-world exercises or drills selected by their trainer.
Participants can record a short workout video inside the app or upload an existing clip as part of their submission.
Trainers review submissions, rate performance, and provide feedback to help participants improve.
Completed training contributes to XP, levels, skill points, rewards, quests, and character progression.
ONE PLATFORM. TWO ROLES.
PARTICIPATION WITH CONTEXT
Traditional workout platforms often rely on users marking activities complete. 1UP gives participants the option to submit short videos, giving trainers more context and creating a stronger connection between the assigned activity and the feedback that follows.
PRIVACY-CONSCIOUS DESIGN
Participants join structured programs using access codes shared by their trainer, coach, teacher, or organization.
Workout submissions are designed for review within the training relationship rather than public social posting.
Users choose when to record or upload workout media and may manage camera and photo permissions through their device.
Programs involving minors should use appropriate parent or guardian permission, clear participation expectations, and adult oversight.
FLEXIBLE BY DESIGN
1UP does not require specialized workout equipment. Coaches choose the activities that fit their athletes, students, clients, or organization.
THE GAME LOOP
The game is not simply placed on top of the workout. The workout powers the game.
Real-world training contributes to character development, XP, levels, skill upgrades, rewards, quests, mini-games, and boss encounters as the platform continues to expand through early access.
EARLY ACCESS
The connected trainer and trainee experiences are operational and available for early testing.
1UP is preparing structured Fall 2026 pilots with a university esports program and a collegiate athletic department.
Early users are helping evaluate onboarding, workout completion, video submission, trainer workflows, progression, and repeat engagement.
