1UP NEWS

Product Updates, Pilot Milestones, and Early-Access Progress

Follow the latest developments as 1UP moves from working product to real-world testing across esports, athletics, schools, coaches, trainers, and performance organizations.

JULY 2026

1UP Submitted to the Apple App Store

1UP has officially been submitted for App Store review. Moving beyond TestFlight will make it easier for testers, coaches, pilot partners, and investors to download the app without installing an additional beta-testing application.

The goal of this release is not to present 1UP as a finished game. It is to reduce onboarding friction and support structured early-access testing while the platform continues to evolve.

EARLY ACCESS

The Working 1UP Experience

The current build connects trainer-created programs with real-world training and game progression.

Trainer Tools

Trainers can create exercises, build workouts, organize complete programs, publish access codes, review submissions, and provide feedback.

Trainee Experience

Participants can create an avatar, join programs, complete workouts, upload short videos, receive trainer feedback, earn XP, level up, and unlock skills.

Game Progression

Real-world effort contributes to quests, progression paths, character growth, gym environments, and boss encounters.

BETA TESTING

Founding 50 Beta Program Preparing for Launch

The Founding 50 program is being developed to help evaluate the complete user journey from account creation through workout completion and progression.

Early testers will help the team understand:

FALL 2026

University Pilot Programs in Preparation

1UP is preparing structured Fall 2026 pilots with two collegiate partners.

University Esports Program

The esports pilot will explore how game-based progression may support physical wellness, team accountability, and structured off-screen activity.

Collegiate Athletic Department

The athletic department pilot will begin with a selected sport rather than launching across every program at once. The initial use case and rollout structure are still being finalized.

PRODUCT WORKFLOW

Short Video Submissions Connect Training and Feedback

Participants can record or upload short workout videos through the mobile app. Trainers can then review those submissions, rate performance, and provide feedback.

This creates a stronger accountability loop than simply checking a box and marking a workout complete.

GAME SYSTEMS

Real Training Continues to Power Character Progression

1UP currently includes XP, levels, skill points, character customization, progression maps, and boss encounters.

The story, multiplayer systems, additional gyms, and expanded mini-game library remain in development. Early access will help the team determine which systems should be prioritized next.
